After purchasing the global training brand CrossFit in August, Boulder local Eric Roza, the CEO and owner of Boulder’s CrossFit Sanitas, is moving the brand’s headquarters from Santa Cruz, California, to downtown Boulder.

The brand just signed a lease to take over the entire former Anthem Branding screen printing office building at 2617 Broadway Street, a roughly 7,100-square-foot space, according Keys Commercial Real Estate LLC president Geoffrey Keys as reported by BizWest.

Founded in 2000, CrossFit combines powerlifting, plyometrics and other training disciplines, and has become a popular fitness sport.

Eric stepped in when CrossFit founder and former owner and CEO Gregg Glassman became embattled and eventually resigned after racist remarks in the wake of George Floyd’s death at the hands of police earlier this summer.
