Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art

Open, exceptional downtown space to view modern art

By BLDRfly Staff Jul 10 2020

Located in a wonderful building with over 10,000 square feet of gallery space, the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art gives Boulder visitors and residents a refined, modern space in which to soak in the museum’s exhibits.

Founded in 1972, BMOCA functions as Kunsthalle — a museum that does not keep a permanent collection.

What we love about BMOCA:

  • The open-layout, modern building, which enhances every exhibit.
  • Easy access from downtown and central park, right next to Boulder Creek and the Dushanbe Tea House.
  • The $2 entrance fee!
